Hager’s Whitetail Workshop LLC – Studio Policies
-
The studio operates by appointment only. Clients are required to contact the studio by phone or text message to schedule all drop-offs and pick-ups.
-
A non-refundable deposit of fifty percent (50%) is required at the time of drop-off for all skin mounts. Refunds of deposits shall be granted solely at the discretion of Hager’s Whitetail Workshop LLC. Final payment is due in full prior to the release of any completed project.
-
All completed projects must be retrieved within six (6) months of the date the client is notified of completion. Projects remaining unclaimed beyond this period shall be deemed abandoned, shall become the sole property of Hager’s Whitetail Workshop LLC, and may be sold at the studio’s discretion in order to recover associated costs and lost revenue.
-
Hager’s Whitetail Workshop LLC accepts only lawfully obtained specimens. Clients bear sole responsibility for ensuring that all animals comply with applicable Michigan and federal wildlife regulations, including possession of required tags, permits, or licenses. The studio reserves the right to request documentation of legal harvest or possession and to decline any specimen that does not meet these requirements.
-
Clients are responsible for the proper field care, preparation, and timely delivery of all hides and specimens. Hager’s Whitetail Workshop LLC assumes no responsibility for damage, hair slippage, or diminished quality resulting from improper handling, delayed delivery, or inadequate storage by the client. The studio reserves the right to refuse any specimen determined to be in unsatisfactory condition.
-
Stated completion times are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Actual turnaround periods may vary depending upon current workload, seasonal demand, specimen condition, and material availability. Clients will be notified upon completion of their project.
-
The liability of Hager’s Whitetail Workshop LLC for any loss, damage, or defect shall be limited to the total amount paid by the client for the specific project in question. The studio shall not be held liable for loss or damage arising from fire, theft, natural disaster, or any other cause beyond its reasonable control.
-
By submitting a specimen, the client grants Hager’s Whitetail Workshop LLC a permission to photograph the completed mount and to use the photographs for marketing, promotional, website, social media, and portfolio purposes, unless the client provides a request to the contrary at the time of drop-off.
-
Clients must provide accurate and current contact information. Hager’s Whitetail Workshop LLC shall not be responsible for any inability to complete or release a project resulting from the client’s failure to maintain reachable contact details.
-
Requests for specialized poses, open-mouth mounts, custom habitat bases, or other modifications must be discussed and agreed upon at the time of drop-off. Any additional charges associated with such requests will be quoted and must be accepted prior to the commencement of work.
